Open-Sourced Web2API for LLMs

What if you don’t need to pay for API keys, with some clever cookie game you have the API Key for free? Sometimes you need an API, but you’re stuck with web UIs, rate limits, or separate paid plans. I just open-sourced Web2API — a unified Python library and REST API for Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini, powered by your browser session cookies: 🔗 Repo: https://lnkd.in/g_PE5xxd What you get: > One Python interface across all three providers > FastAPI server with SSE streaming > CLI tools to test connectivity > Auth via local JSON or environment variables Cookie setup is usually the hardest part, so I wrote a step-by-step guide with DevTools screenshots for ChatGPT and Gemini: 📖 Cookie guide: https://lnkd.in/guxUjJsh Built for developers and researchers who want a clean, self-hosted way to work with multiple AI chat providers from one codebase. Planning to share my paid subscriptions with the research fellows of ARIBD, through a unified interface inshallah. If you try it, I’d love feedback on the auth flow. #OpenSource #Python #AI #LLM #FastAPI #MachineLearning #DeveloperTools

🎓 A chapter comes to a close I recently handed over the Dhaka University IT Society (DUITS) executive committee as elected President of 11th executive committee, marking the end of an incredibly meaningful journey. The journey started as a member in 2020, ended as a President in 2026. Now lifetime alumni! At our final ceremony, we welcomed new members and celebrated impact — with 300+ students receiving certificates from initiatives I’m especially proud of: a hands-on Microsoft Office program and a Python programming course. I had the privilege of signing each certificate, making the moment even more personal. With the presence of our Pro Vice Chancellor, respected faculty from University of Dhaka, and DUITS seniors, the event truly reflected the community we’ve built. Leading DUITS taught me that leadership is about creating opportunities that last beyond your tenure. Excited to see the next committee take it forward. 🚀 #Leadership #DUITS #DhakaUniversity #TechEducation #StudentImpact

I am excited to announce that our new Bangla question-answering dataset, SOMAJGYAAN, is now publicly available—and has also been accepted for publication as a research paper at IJCNLP-AACL 2025! Credit goes to Fariha Anjum Shifa Apu & Md. Fahim Bhai for the hardwork and putting everything together. Why does this matter? 1. SOMAJGYAAN is Bangladesh’s one of the largest and most diverse MCQ dataset, which is manually annotated(4,234 questions) covering history, geography, social studies, economics, law, and politics—all sourced directly from national curriculum textbooks and guides. 2.The dataset is meticulously annotated to test not only factual recall but also reasoning, contextual understanding, and knowledge of uniquely Bangladeshi topics. 3. This resource empowers researchers and developers working on Bangla LLMs, AI for low-resource languages, educational technology, and social knowledge tasks to perform fair and rigorous benchmarking. By making this dataset open-access, we invite participation from the global NLP community to advance fairness, inclusiveness, and innovation in AI for low-resource languages. The dataset supports model training, transfer learning, LoRA fine-tuning, and evaluation of both open- and closed-source models on culture-rich and socially relevant question answering. Reflecting on the July Revolution 2024

December 27, 2024
Read More

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on my experience during the July Revolution in Bangladesh. This year marked a significant turning point as we witnessed the fall of an authoritarian government of Hasina and the rise of new government with student leaders and Dr. Muhammad Yunus as chief advisor. As a student at Dhaka University, I felt proud to be part of a movement that continues our institution’s legacy of fighting for democracy and justice. My involvement in the quota reform movement began in early July, where I served as a coordinator for my residence hall, Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall. We actively advocated for fairer job opportunities in government, aiming to tackle the long-standing inequalities within the system. The courage of countless protesters fueled widespread anger against the government's oppressive actions, leading to a unified demand for change known as “One Point.” Resignation of Hasina government! It was truly inspiring to witness so many individuals from all walks of life come together, united in their desire for a brighter future for our nation. This revolution is not just about political change; it represents our collective stand against injustice and our commitment to building a more inclusive society. This movement not only highlighted the need for reform but also showcased the power of collective action in driving meaningful change. Together, we stood strong in our fight for justice and equality! #JulyRevolution #Bangladesh #Democracy #QuotaReform #DhakaUniversity

Alhamdulillah! Our Team DU_Unsatisfiedsouls ( Dipto Shaha, me and Himel Chandra Roy ) qualified for the finals of Code Samurai BD 2024 to be held in May 10-11 clearing 2nd Phase! We got the highest mark among the qualified teams from whole Bangladesh! An experience full of unforeseen surprises, sleepless nights, and countless hours of struggle but yet the end product is a sigh of relief. Kudos to Dipto Shaha who worked the whole day-night for the project. 7-day deadline pressure came to an end today. Three things to take away from the contest: 1) AI doesn't have all the answers(yet) but your brain and experience might have. 2) Development without CP is a backfire, especially in such contests. Strong CP fundamentals give a huge boost. 3) Team work and coordination make and under-skilled team, deliver better output!

Attended KolpoKoushol 2023 at IUB

October 19, 2023
Read More

I recently attended KolpoKoushol 2023 at Independent University, Bangladesh, where the acceptance rate was less than 14%. Supported by a2i, Kickstarter, The event brought together students and employees from diverse backgrounds with the motto of "Imagination Engineering." It was an open platform founded by MIT graduate Nazmus Saquib bhai to encourage talented individuals to collaborate on new ideas, bridging the gaps between traditional disciplines. The goal was to solve local and community-specific problems. The workshop spanned four days. On the first day, we had an introductory session, a session of "How make (almost) anything", engaging with others and discussing our interests. We were given two problem-solving areas: Food and Nutrition, and Music. I was particularly interested in AI music generation for the country's first AI music concert. I formed a group based on shared interests, and after lunch, we started building model. We were humbly guided by Mamun Bhai! It was a long day, and I didn't stay in accommodation, so the journey back home was tiring. The second day featured sessions on design thinking by Saad A. vai, Web3 session with a focus on blockchain, which piqued my interest. I delved into learning about blockchain, and thanks to the kind direction of Tahlil Tahlil vai, Rafe Samnan vai, Mahabub Alahi vai, I worked on a blockchain-based crowdfunding platform throughout the night. My third day began with AI model work but eventually led to C programming for creating a new instrument. I joined a team working on an Arduino C-based project, leveraging my prior knowledge of C programming. Despite the official workshop hours, I stayed at IUB Fablab until midnight. We continued working on AI music and C programming, and it was inspiring to see Saquib Bhai's dedication. The third night was still not over as I worked on backend integration for the AI model output, going to bed around 3 AM. The fourth day was the demo day, and I had taken formal accommodation. Our AI music generation team was excited to showcase our work, despite feeling a bit tired. We prepared presentations and resolved last-minute issues. Our project impressed everyone, and our AI-generated track made it to Bangladesh's first AI concert, which you can find on YouTube. ( https://lnkd.in/dzBCrj9h )! At last we enjoyed the melodious Concert, and went back home with bags full of experience! Through my experience at Kolpokoushol with three different teams, I rediscovered my capacity as an adaptive learner with a strong interest in research and development. I look forward to shaping the future.

Excited to share my thoughts on our latest project "Uposthit: The Ultimate Attendance Management System". I am proud to say that our team of talented individuals came together to bring this innovative attendance management system to life. As the team leader, I was responsible for understanding the user requirements through interviews, creating the ER diagram, schema diagram, and database, writing queries, creating views, and ensuring data integrity and security. My team member Raufun Nazin Srizon was responsible for the data input form interface, designing the data table with sorting and filtering features, creating the course and semester assign interface, and designing the sequential structure for attendance. Ahnaf Tahmid played a vital role in setting up the database, connecting it to the frontend, inserting data through the input form, creating the API, and writing backend queries for data retrieval and manipulation. The project was built using ReactJS for the frontend and PHP for the backend, along with tools like code editor, version control system, and package manager. Our features include user login, attendance tracking, attendance reports, attendance history, and attendance analysis. Users such as students, teachers, and administrators can log in to the system with their unique credentials and track attendance for various classes and lectures. Reports can be generated for specific classes, lectures, or time periods, and users can also view their attendance history and get statistical analysis of attendance data. I want to give a big shout out to my fantastic team for their hard work and dedication. It was a pleasure working with each of you. As we work towards digitizing the attendance system of Dhaka University, our team has been collaborating closely with esteemed teachers to bring this project to fruition. To maintain security, the project code is stored in a private Git repository and the project report and slides are not publicly available at this time. I will keep my network updated on future developments and look forward to sharing updates soon. Until then, take care! #Uposthit #AttendanceManagement #EdTech #DhakaUniversity #TeamSuccess #ReactJS #PHP #DataIntegrity #DataSecurity

Discussed Algorithms & Data Structures

November 12, 2022
Read More

Algorithms and data structures rank among the most crucial components in computer science. We can organize and store data using data structures, and process it meaningfully using algorithms. In cooperation with the department, I studied these two concepts in two semesters (CSE-2101: Data Structure and Algorithm, and CSE-2202: Design and Analysis of Algorithm-I). Since I performed well in both courses, including the labs, I believe that my juniors from CSEDU will benefit from this repository. I tried to comprehend the concept fully and used Java and C++ to implement it from scratch. As I tried to make the code as modular and simple to understand as possible, I felt my codes (There might've been Bugs) might be helpful to others. Since it is a public source, any issues or bug reports, as well as contributions, are gratefully accepted. I intend to continue working on this repository's development in the future. Let's Talk About Open Source! Bangladesh's open source community is progressively growing! However, a lot of people who are in IT related stuffs and non-technical people are unaware of it. Most students reading at various universities have little knowledge of “open source” and don't give it enough significance, although several technologically advanced nations, like India, give it top priority. In an effort to respond to inquiries from a LinkedIn Connection on my earlier post about my open source contribution, I made an effort to produce a thorough Bangla blog piece titled "Open Source Contribution on Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Bangla Glossary Contribution." Completed Digital Logic Design Course EEE-1203

December 19, 2021

EEE-1203: Digital Logic Design [3.0 credits, 45 hours lecture] Course Teacher: Dr. Ismat Rahman Madam (26th Batch) Books: Introduction to Circuit Analysis, Robert Boyelstad References: https://lnkd.in/gnz_rVb5 (Personal Notion Notes which have a topic-wise organized resource list. Everything You Need to do well in this course is there!) Course Content: This course is an entry point to electronics study. "Resistor", "Parallel DC networks", "Series DC networks", and their many kinds of combinations are the very first topics of this course. These topics are already covered by students (of Bangladesh) at the college level. I recommend students to clear all their doubts if any on these topics. "Current Electricity" Chapter of Physics should be crystal clear regarding topics related to this course or the later concepts of this course will be hard to grip. Then there comes, Analysis procedure of circuits including "Mesh analysis", "Branch current analysis", and "Nodal analysis". These are just well-defined procedures to solve complex circuits, are applied in every circuit-related problem. "Network Theorems" are the backbone of this course I can bet. It includes "Superposition", "Thevenin’s", "Norton’s", "Maximum Power Transfer", "Millman’s", "Substitution", "Reciprocity", etc. theorems. All the theorems should be clear to do well in this course, as the teacher prefers this chapter for many kinds of questions. After that, "Conductors" and "Inductors" are important chapters. From these chapters, you can find some descriptive questions along with mathematical. Concepts must be crystal clear, as there are fewer resources on youtube regarding these topics, students need to follow class lectures attentively. Conclusion and words to students who is going to take the course: This course is also an introduction to electrical circuits, which play a vital role in the internal structure of computers, you need to feel these simple electrical circuitry things to explore the complex structure of computers in the future. Apart from these, this topic is interesting enough as there is enough scope for applying your logical abilities in circuits. A lot of practice of exercise is necessary to do well in this course. Regular study with clear concepts gonna make this course easier than it looks. (Why this post? I am planning to give a post for each course I finished, with a short description of it and references I used and learned from. I hope it will be a great resource for my juniors and anyone who will be studying related Topics!
