I am very honored to share that our team DU_Bayanno (Nazmus Sakib Ahmed bhai, Ashraful Islam Shanto bhai )is the champion of the Natural Language Processing segment at the "ভাষা উৎসব ও জাতীয় ভাষা সেমিনার ২০২৪" organized by the esteemed Linguistics Department of the University of Dhaka. Recognizing the rich history of Bengali literature, yet its limited online accessibility, we devised a meticulous plan to digitize Bengali texts comprehensively. Our crafted pipeline for data digitization, covering segmentation, preprocessing, post-processing, OCR/HCR, and structured data organization for researchers, set a pioneering pathway for Bengali natural language processing research. Our participation not only showcased our groundbreaking idea but also fostered a collaborative environment, with diverse institutions contributing invaluable perspectives and insights. The culmination of the event was an honor bestowed upon us by the distinguished Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal sir.
