EEE-1203: Digital Logic Design [3.0 credits, 45 hours lecture] Course Teacher: Dr. Ismat Rahman Madam (26th Batch) Books: Introduction to Circuit Analysis, Robert Boyelstad References: https://lnkd.in/gnz_rVb5 (Personal Notion Notes which have a topic-wise organized resource list. Everything You Need to do well in this course is there!) Course Content: This course is an entry point to electronics study. "Resistor", "Parallel DC networks", "Series DC networks", and their many kinds of combinations are the very first topics of this course. These topics are already covered by students (of Bangladesh) at the college level. I recommend students to clear all their doubts if any on these topics. "Current Electricity" Chapter of Physics should be crystal clear regarding topics related to this course or the later concepts of this course will be hard to grip. Then there comes, Analysis procedure of circuits including "Mesh analysis", "Branch current analysis", and "Nodal analysis". These are just well-defined procedures to solve complex circuits, are applied in every circuit-related problem. "Network Theorems" are the backbone of this course I can bet. It includes "Superposition", "Thevenin’s", "Norton’s", "Maximum Power Transfer", "Millman’s", "Substitution", "Reciprocity", etc. theorems. All the theorems should be clear to do well in this course, as the teacher prefers this chapter for many kinds of questions. After that, "Conductors" and "Inductors" are important chapters. From these chapters, you can find some descriptive questions along with mathematical. Concepts must be crystal clear, as there are fewer resources on youtube regarding these topics, students need to follow class lectures attentively. Conclusion and words to students who is going to take the course: This course is also an introduction to electrical circuits, which play a vital role in the internal structure of computers, you need to feel these simple electrical circuitry things to explore the complex structure of computers in the future. Apart from these, this topic is interesting enough as there is enough scope for applying your logical abilities in circuits. A lot of practice of exercise is necessary to do well in this course. Regular study with clear concepts gonna make this course easier than it looks. (Why this post? I am planning to give a post for each course I finished, with a short description of it and references I used and learned from. I hope it will be a great resource for my juniors and anyone who will be studying related Topics! Employers Can Easily Find out what I have learned and what am I good at!) #academicstudy #electronics #csedu #eee1101 #courseoverviewbyarean #electricalcircuits
