The field of Usable Privacy & Security presents a promising avenue for research, characterized by its potential to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in this domain. Under the guidance of esteemed academics such as Professor Pavel Tariq from Syracuse University and Professor Rumi from Dhaka University, we have embarked on an in-depth exploration of this field. Mahmudul Hasan was my partner in this presentation. In this vein, we recently had the opportunity to delve into a paper titled "When is a Tree Really a Truck? Exploring Mental Models of Encryption", authored by Justin Wu and Daniel Zappala from Brigham Young University. Our presentation centered around the findings and implications of this study, which examined users' mental models of encryption. The insights gained from this research have significant practical applications in the development of more user-friendly and accessible security solutions. We look forward to continuing our investigation of Usable Privacy & Security, and to further contributions to this exciting and dynamic field.
